These are my candid shots from the 1999 NERFA conference. About two thirds of them were captured during late
night fun in the Condos at the songswaps that last past dawn. I stayed in a block with Laurie and Neal from
Fox Run in an effort to stay closer to the fun, which mostly emanated from Sally and Marys room this year. I did
get to steal away and enjoy part of the Pete and Maura Kennedy's traditional classic rockfest regaled with tons of
old songs by the Beatles, the Byrds, Bob Dylan, and other icons of my youth. The rest of the shots come from
dinners, workshops, etc. and highlight some of folk music's great unsung heroes like Vic and Reba Heyman, Gene Shay,
Phyllis Barney, and many others. I wish I had time to go thru and caption all of these photos, but I just don't. At
least I was able to get them online and I hope that some of you who couldn't make it to the conference will
enjoy them.
